1. High performance 32 bit ARM 9 platform, huge storage capacity and excellent extensibility.
2. Software remotely upgrade, based on Embedded LINUX.
3. Communication:
A. Upward: 1 port, support one of PSTN/ GSM/ GPRS
B. Downward: 1. PLC port, communication with PLC meters and PLC collectors, RS485 ports
C. Local: One RS 485 port and one 38 kHz modulated infrared port or RF wireless.
4. Each concentrator manages 1024 meters.
5. Auto-routing function: Concentrator generates/ optimizes PLC network topology dynamically to reach best communication efficiency. PLC meter be logged in automatically, rather than manually.
6. Online real time meter reading/controlling, automated meter data collection as per scheduled task list.
7. Communication successful rate: 100% within 24 hrs, >95% in one shot.
8. Real time clock (RTC) ≤ 0.5 s/ day.
9. Synchronize all meter RTC.
10. Monitor power loss, and alarm to control centre.
11. Self-diagnosis function: Abnormity can be logged and reported to the control center automatically.
12. Transfer command from control centre to meters.
13. User authorization for different access rights.
14. Remote software online program upgrading through highly security mechanism by authenticated user.
